Description: Black pepper oleoresin is an oily resin obtained from the half mature dried berries of Piper nigrum L. After dried berries are finely ground, black pepper oleoresin is formed with an extraction process using organic solvents.
Ingredients: Natural extract of black pepper, mono & diglycerides of fatty acids and propylene glycol.
Usage Areas: In savory flavors, spice seasonings, snack foods, processed meat, soup bases, dressings, sauces, fragrances, food supplements and any other food product needing the characteristics of black pepper.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Appearance: A thick green liquid, pourable at ambient temperature. Minimal separation of the oil fraction may be noted, but this blends in easily and thoroughly.
Flavor Notes: The flavor is mildly warm and pleasant upfront, and later turns hot and pungent. The aroma is typical of black pepper.
Solubility: Soluble in vegetable oils.
Dispersibility: Disperse on a free-flowing carrier such as salt, dextrose or maltodextrin.
